Information we collect

• Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, verification status and communication preferences.
• Order details: selected items, quantities, customisations, kitchen notes, taxes, totals, order status, delivery details, feedback and support messages.
• Verification and communications: records showing that an OTP or verification email was requested, sent or completed, where those features are offered. We do not need your WhatsApp password or email password.
• Technical and usage data: IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, page and menu interactions, and identifiers stored in cookies or local storage.
• Payment records: payment status or a transaction reference when available. Payment instructions appear only after the restaurant confirms an order. We do not ask for or store your UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV or internet-banking password.

How we use information

We use information to:

• create and verify customer accounts by WhatsApp, SMS or email where those methods are enabled;
• review, confirm, prepare, deliver, support and record orders;
• send essential service messages, including order decisions, payment instructions and delivery updates;
• correct or suggest delivery addresses and share the confirmed address with the assigned delivery partner;
• secure the website, prevent abuse, diagnose errors and measure menu or service performance;
• send offers or promotional messages only where you have chosen to receive them, and honour later opt-outs; and
• meet accounting, tax, food-safety, legal and dispute-resolution obligations.

When information is shared

We may share only the information reasonably needed with:

• delivery providers such as Uber, Rapido or another assigned local logistics partner, including your name, phone number, address and relevant order status;
• WhatsApp, SMS and email providers used for verification and service notifications;
• website hosting, database, security and analytics providers that process data for us;
• a payment provider if one is connected and you choose that payment method; and
• authorities, professional advisers or another party where required by law, needed to protect people or rights, or connected with a lawful business transfer.

El Rancho Sagrado does not sell customer personal information.

Cookies, local storage and apps

The website may use essential cookies or browser storage to keep a session active, remember a cart, protect staff tools and support installable-app features. Basic analytics may record visits and menu interactions. Blocking storage may prevent account, cart or ordering features from working correctly.

Embedded services, such as Google links, apply their own privacy terms when you open or interact with them.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including order fulfilment, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax and other legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by record type. Data may be deleted, anonymised or retained where the law or a live dispute requires it.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including protected staff access and restricted sessions. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passwords, PINs, full card details or other unnecessary secrets.

Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw a consent, update your communication choices, or raise a grievance. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records that must be kept for legal, security, accounting or dispute purposes.

To stop promotional messages, use the unsubscribe or opt-out method in the message, or contact elranchosagrado@gmail.com. Essential account, order and safety messages may still be sent while a service is active.

Children and service locations

The website is intended for people able to place a lawful food order. We do not knowingly request a child's personal information without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Some technology providers may process information outside Telangana or India under their own infrastructure and contractual safeguards.
